This may be obvious, but the biggest pro about using Crazy Egg is the fact that it’s designed to help you better understand the behavior of your website visitors. With heatmaps, scrollmaps, audience reports, referral traffic, and more, this tool has a lot of information to offer. The information provided will help website owners and marketing teams pinpoint missed opportunities and what changes need to be made in order to keep visitors engaged and eventually lead them to a purchase.

Session Recordings

Crazy Egg provides screen recordings of user sessions on your website so you can see exactly where and when users are clicking on important items, such as calls to action. Screen recordings allow website owners to also see what types of issues may be occurring when a potential lead goes to fill out a form, and what may stop those potential leads from submitting their contact information through your website.

Monitor Email & Ad Campaign Visitors

Okay - we know, we know - pricing tends to be one of the biggest cons we list for a lot of these review blogs. But honestly, it tends to be something that we find a lot of people complain about when we do our research. Crazy Egg is no different. While smaller websites with less current needs may be okay with the basic plan at only $24/month, larger websites will need pricier monthly plans in order to access everything they need. After scouring countless review websites over the course of 18 years (just kidding, it only took about an hour or so), we’ve found that most people who have reviewed this tool don’t have many bad things to say about it.
