Hello again! Thanks for visiting the Greyphin blog for another post in our series about SEO. If you remember our last post, we gave an overview about search engine optimization and its importance to your website. Today, we shall delve further into the realm of SEO and talk about a very important aspect: keywords.
The definition of keywords used in SEO copy is quite simple to understand. Keywords are the words or phrases that people type into a search engine when looking for something on the internet. Simple enough, right?
Join us next week for our next blog - just kidding. It doesn’t end there!
Did you know that, according to Search South, 50% of internet searches are made up of at least four words and that half of the queries are long-tail keywords? Well now you know. But what does that mean to you? It means that, if you’re not performing extensive keyword research to reach your target audience, then you’re not taking advantage of a whole bunch of potential leads, which could ultimately lead to more money in your pocket.
To find relevant long-tail keywords, you’ll need to search for seed keywords and compare them and other keywords using a SEO keyword research tool.
Once you’ve found the keywords that you need to use on your website, then you must make sure to use those keywords at a density of around 5% in order for your content to rank well in an internet search. Lucky for you, Greyphin has SEO Copywriter services available so that you don’t have to worry about doing this yourself.
So what’s the takeaway from this week’s blog post? Keywords are king. Without implementing keywords into your website copy, you’re simply not going to reach all of the potential customers that you possibly could. That doesn’t sound ideal, does it?
Stay tuned for next week’s Greyphin SEO blog where we’ll touch on the topic of Image SEO.
