So, you have a website, right? That’s a good start. Now you just need people to see it. But how does that work, exactly? Well, you need to rank on the first page of Google’s search engine results pages, of course!

While this sounds like it may be easy, it’s not. In fact, if you don’t know anything about digital marketing and search engine optimization, then you’re basically making a website for nothing. But don’t get too worried right off the bat - Greyphin’s here with our awesome SEO services that will help you get ranking higher up on the search engine results pages sooner than you can say yabba-dabba-doo.

Let’s pump the brakes for a minute here and lay it all out for you in a way that’s easy to understand. You see, websites that make the first page on Google search engine results pages rank for an average of 1,890 meta keywords. That’s a lot of keywords!

But before you start putting keywords you want to rank for all over your website, remember this: just because you want to rank for a keyword, doesn’t mean you necessarily can. Google takes several things into account, with their main consideration being your website authority score.

A website authority score is a number from 1 to 100 that determines a website’s ranking with a specific keyword compared to competitors. You see, each keyword also has an authority score between 0 and 100, and to rank for a specific keyword, your authority score has to be greater than or equal to the keyword’s authority score. Additionally, to outrank your competitors for a specific keyword, your website authority score has to be higher than theirs.

While this information may seem quite daunting, don’t get too scared! At Greyphin, we understand that not everyone’s familiar with the world of search engine optimization, so that’s why we offer our professional skills so that we can help you get your website to the place it needs to be so that more people can find you and, in turn, you can generate more revenue.
